The Welcome Brain Airport Survey
Help shape the future of neuroinclusive airports
Welcome Brain is carrying out new research with London City Airport to understand how people experience airports and what could make them more neuroinclusive.
We want to hear from both neurodivergent and neurotypical travellers about the parts of the airport journey they find difficult, as well as anything they’ve experienced that made travelling easier.
Who can take part?
The survey is open to anyone aged 18 or over who has travelled through an airport in the last three years.
Parents and carers can also respond about the experience of travelling with a neurodivergent person.
The survey covers the airport journey, from arrival and check-in through security, the terminal, boarding and arrivals. It does not cover the flight itself.
What will the research be used for?
The findings will help us identify common challenges, examples of good practice and practical ways airports can become more neuroinclusive.
They will also inform the future development of a Welcome Brain Neuroinclusive Airport Standard, building on our existing work developing neuroinclusive standards and guidance for venues and events.
