What is Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation?
Neuroinclusive Venue Accreditation is a structured assessment and improvement programme for hotels, conference venues, food and beverage spaces, and retail locations. It translates neuroinclusive principles into practical, operational actions and results in formal recognition that your venue is designed to work for a wide range of cognitive and sensory needs.
Accreditation is awarded at Silver, Gold, or Platinum level, reflecting the depth and consistency of neuroinclusive practice across your venue. It is valid for three years, giving event organisers and clients ongoing confidence that your venue meets a recognised standard.
Neuroinclusive venues are not only more welcoming. They are more competitive, more future-ready, and more likely to be chosen by organisers seeking to deliver accessible, high-quality events.
THE PROCESS
How accreditation works
Initial call
We begin with a short call with one of our neuroinclusion experts to understand your venue, event types, and any existing accessibility practices. This helps us tailor guidance and ensure the process is straightforward and relevant to your space.
Receive the checklist
You'll be provided with the Welcome Brain Neuroinclusive Venue Checklist, along with guidance on how to assess your current practices and identify quick wins or simple improvements.
Submit your evidence
You'll develop a concise evidence pack demonstrating how your venue meets the checklist standards in practice. This may include photographs, signage examples, staff training materials, or operational procedures. We provide guidance throughout to help you submit accurately and confidently.
Site visit
A collaborative in-person site visit confirms how the adjustments work in practice and provides tailored recommendations. This ensures accreditation reflects real-world experience, not just paperwork.
Accreditation decision
Your venue is awarded Silver, Gold, or Platinum status based on the depth and consistency of your neuroinclusive practices. Accreditation is valid for three years, signalling ongoing confidence and reliability to event organisers and clients.
